Free Will Drive Thru Dinner
For the past 25 years,Canton UMC has offered community members free meals weekly on Wednesday afternoons. This ministry was founded by long-time parishioner Carlton Doane. Although he passed away in 2023, his vision and commitment to this program are carried on by a dedicated “Kitchen Crew” of volunteers. The meal is currently operated as a drive-through/pick-up format with an average of 120-130 meals served weekly.Photos of Dedicated Kitchen Crew Volunteers are shown below:

Waste Not Permaculture, a regional organization based in Canton NY, is screening Food, Inc. 2, the sequel to the 2008 Oscar®-nominated and Emmy® Award-winning documentary Food, Inc., on Saturday May 31st at 7 PM in the church sanctuary.
